RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and building codes to ensure accurate work. May oversee electrical installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting across various types of builds. May lead and manage a team of electricians on commercial/industrial/residential projects. Ensure all work is completed safely, meets OSHA regulations, and company standards. Inspect completed work for quality control and compliance. Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are maintained. Mentor and train apprentice and journeyman electricians to develop their skills and knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician; Foreman level experience is a plus. Experience with commercial/industrial/residential new construction, remodeling, and electrical installations. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, applicable codes, and industry standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical plans, and technical drawings. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, project managers, and team members. Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company requirements. Ability to work safely on lifts, ladders, rooftops, and other elevated or hard-to-access areas. Ability to frequently reach, climb, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs., as well as operate hand and power tools. Must be able to hear, see, speak, and communicate clearly with employees, customers, and other project personnel. Must have the manual dexterity and physical ability necessary to perform hands-on electrical work in the field.
