In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations in residential, commercial, industrial, and renovation environments. Responsibilities will include:
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise electrical work Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete installations and repairs on time Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate industrial processes and improve system efficiency Conduct low voltage and high voltage electrical work safely on construction sites or renovation projects Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults accurately Identify hazards, defects or malfunctioning equipment and adjust, or repair to ensure compliance with all applicable codes. Conduct final inspections and functional tests of completed work to ensure systems operate as intended. Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman teams during renovation or construction projects Follow all safety protocols related to NEC standards and local regulations to ensure a secure work environment Qualifications Proven experience with installation, repair and maintenance work for residential/commercial/multi residential projects. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical diagrams. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage safety procedures Ability to complete work in accordance with national and state codes. Ability to lead and train apprentices effectively. Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety. Ability to lift 50 lbs. OSHA 10 preferred.
