Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify issues within complex industrial electrical systems and implement effective solutions Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures during all phases of work to prevent hazards and ensure a safe working environment Work on construction sites involving renovation or new installations, including framing carpentry as needed for electrical infrastructure setup Troubleshoot low voltage systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license with proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical work Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, troubleshooting electrical systems, and working with low voltage systems Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment Construction site experience with a focus on safety procedures and adherence to industry standards Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently within complex electrical systems Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and project managers Join us as a Journeyman Electrician and be part of a team dedicated to delivering top-quality electrical solutions.
