The company builds custom automation equipment, including transfer systems, conveyor systems, threading tables and process tables, for manufacturers across a range of industries. Every machine is built to a customer's spec, so you are not building the same panel over and over. Read and work from blueprints, electrical diagrams and schematic drawings Align and join wires, terminals and components onto panels Install PLCs, relays, sensors, instruments and other components Route and lace cable, terminate, ferrule and label Attach hardware using rivets, screws, hand and power tools Diagnose and test parts and whole systems with multimeter, oscilloscope and amp meter Check parts for defects and replace defective components and wiring Keep records, logs, time keeping and job tracking up to date You report to the Electrical Foreman. The following are different trades and will not meet the requirement, however many years you have in them: Maintenance and repair of installed plant or CNC equipment Electronics, phone, computer or device repair Wire harness, cable or PCB assembly Residential or commercial electrical work Field service and commissioning on someone else's build If your experience is mainly in one of these, this is not the right role, and it is better for both of us that you know now. Nice to have, but not required SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN Electrical certifications, courses or a degree. Not having them will not count against you The interview Two to three stages: a phone or video call, an on-site interview, and a practical panel build to print at the Greer facility. They supply the wire, ferrules and tools. If you build panels for a living, that last stage works in your favour. You get judged on what you can do on the bench.
