Training will take place on 1st shift hours for approximately 2-3 weeks. This role contains an ample vacation plan and a strong benefit package.
ONCE THIS FACILITY IS FULLY STAFFED CANDIATES CAN SELECT 1ST OR 3RD SHIFT AS A CONSTANT.
The key to this role is utilization of Electrical skills to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a Data Center operation.
The incumbent will:
Be responsible for the daily performance of preventative and corrective maintenance work. Perform Low voltage repairs and installations Perform Server rack level electrical repairs & installations Complete Battery testing Perform Rounds and readings Respond to and perform minor operations and maintenance activities at the request of the Control Room Operator.
QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years experience functioning as an Electrician, or performing electrical work, troubleshooting, fixing and monitoring mechanical/facilities equipment 1+ years working in a Critical Facilities Environment (Data Center/Hospital/airport, etc) Experience with Data Center equipment (Chiller/GEN/UPS/STS etc.) Experience and understanding of "Central Plant" environments Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools for documentation purposes Preferred but not required Journeyman Electrician License CFC Universal license EPA Certification Any Critical Facilities license
