An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.
We are looking for experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team in the Spartanburg, SC area. We are seeking dependable, safety-minded electricians who take pride in quality workmanship and can work effectively in an industrial environment. Requirements 3+ years of industrial electrical experience preferred OSHA 10 certification required Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, conduit, and troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Must be able to communicate effectively in English , including understanding safety instructions, work orders, and jobsite requirements Must have reliable transportation Must have basic electrical hand tools Must be willing to follow all OSHA, company, and jobsite safety requirements Must successfully complete a pre-employment 10-panel drug screening , where permitted by applicable law Must be able to pass any required background or employment verification checks Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems Install and terminate conduit, wire, panels, motors, controls, and related equipment Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Troubleshoot electrical circuits and equipment Follow lockout/tagout and other applicable safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work effectively with supervisors, electricians, and other trades Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and on schedule
