Are you a skilled Industrial Electrician? OpSource has partnered with an industrial construction company, located in Spartanburg SC. We are looking to hire skilled Industrial Electricians in the Upstate of South Carolina Pay for the position: $28.00 - $32.00 / Hour Shift for the position: Monday - Friday / First Shift / Overtime as Required Job requirements for the position may include: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations. Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and other electrical components. Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, and switchboard meters. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair, electrical and low voltage control systems and other related devices. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements through reporting violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to immediate supervisor. Responsible for maintaining company tools Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean Work with building principals and supervisors to complete projects Qualifications for the position: 3 - 5 years of experience in an industrial setting as a Journeyman Electrician carrying out electrical tasks associated with installations and maintenance in industrial settings Proficient at bending conduit Experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems, performing work on power distribution systems, interpreting blueprints and specifications Ability to form material lists Must be comfortable working at heights Able to work in high pressure, time sensitive conditions
