POSITION SUMMARY
The 110V Electrician will install all 110v electrical components on the fire apparatus. They will run wires from equipment to breaker panels and designing the circuit. The 110v Electrician will design electrical circuits by determining the amount of electrical current drawn from the equipment to be installed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All employees are required to support Rosenbauer's Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. Installs breakers, generators, light towers, all SO cord/conduit lines, electrical cord reels, and 110v outlets. Designs electrical circuits by determining the amount of electrical current draw from the equipment to be installed. Runs wires to fire apparatus equipment and perform cable management as needed. Terminates wires as needed to connect equipment to breaker box. Tests equipment and diagnose electrical problems. Utilizes basic hand tools, shear, and brake press as needed to complete objectives. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the supervisor to meet the needs of the department.

Experience:
High school diploma/GED required. Knowledge of DC and AC electrical equipment and 6 months of related experience

Language:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Math:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
A Abilities:
Knowledge of basic inspection tools, machining skills or related fields. Able to recognize the importance and adhere to all safety policies to promote a safe working environment. Able to read and work from blueprints/spec book. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines. Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
