New residential construction Residential remodels Lighting upgrades Residential and light commercial service work Small commercial projects Data cabling Service upgrades Back up generators ## Overview We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various electrical settings and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. ## Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national regulations
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Follow blueprints ensuring that electrical installations meet code
- Collaborate with construction teams to provide electrical expertise during the renovation process ## Skills
- Proficiency in low voltage systems
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to use a voltmeter for electrical testing
- Experience in residential and light commercial settings as an electrician
- Competency in blueprint reading for electrical layouts
- Strong understanding of residential codes and wiring methods
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in the trade
