Job Description

Lee Company is seeking an Experienced Electrical Technician/Mechanic to support commercial and industrial construction and facilities projects across the Southeast. In this field-based role, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, panels, and controls while strictly following NEC and company safety standards. You'll read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to service calls. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, panels, and equipment on commercial and industrial projects Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and job plans to complete installations to spec Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform diagnostics, and complete effective repairs with minimal downtime Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and Lee Company safety standards and procedures Document work performed, materials used, and communicate status updates to supervisors and customers Collaborate with other trades and team members to deliver high-quality, on-time project completion Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in safe, clean, and organized condition Required Skills Electrical installation (conduit, panels, wiring) Reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics Use of multimeters and electrical test equipment Industrial/commercial electrical systems Preventive and corrective maintenance Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes Motor controls and VFDs Low-voltage and control wiring Safety procedures and PPE compliance
