We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, production machinery, and automated equipment to minimize downtime and keep operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have industrial electrical maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, motors, control panels, conveyors, presses, and other production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues involving sensors, control circuits, wiring, motors, and automated equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs and other automated electrical control systems. Provide electrical maintenance support for production equipment, including kilns, polishing machines, grinders, conveyors, and other industrial machinery. Assist with the installation and startup of new machinery and electrical systems. Calibrate and adjust electrical components and controls to meet manufacturing process requirements. Inspect and maintain electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Follow all electrical safety procedures, including proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, service logs, and repair documentation. Assist with developing and updating electrical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Communicate equipment issues, repairs, and maintenance needs to supervisors and other members of the maintenance team. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase production efficiency. Support continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and predictive maintenance initiatives. Inspect and maintain high-voltage equipment and electrical systems used throughout the facility. Assist with control system calibration and temperature regulation equipment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience troubleshooting PLCs, automated control systems, and industrial electrical equipment. Experience working with high-voltage electrical equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficiency using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Working knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards, including NEC and

NFPA 70E.

Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to work alongside mechanical maintenance personnel. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Electrical license or journeyman certification is preferred. Technical certification or an associate degree in electrical technology or a related field is preferred. Experience with SCADA systems and CMMS software is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, dust, noise, and industrial equipment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and handle equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work at heights and in confined or tight spaces when necessary. Ability to safely perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in an active production environment.

Pay:

$22.00 - $31.00 per hour
