An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
Electrical installation in residential applications for both new builds and additions Installation of new electrical services Customer interaction in response to customer requests for service Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned installations Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment Installing and terminating devices in compliance with the current local and national code requirements Troubleshooting existing electrical systemsRequirements:
- Must have 2+ years of electrical experience w/detailed knowledge of electrical system operation
- Must be customer focused and be able to manage customer interactions
- Good understanding of all aspects of residential and light commercial electrical installations
- A safety focused work history
- Possess all hand and normal light power tools associated with electrical work
- Ability to lift, push, pull and move moderately heavy objects
- Ability to safely move, ascend and descend ladders
- Applicants must pass an initial onboarding drug screening
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to and from work
