Pay is based on years of experience Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across industrial and commercial environments. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovation, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, ensuring adherence to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or inefficiencies within complex electrical systems. Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely on industrial equipment and infrastructure, following strict electrical safety procedures. Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage control systems critical for automation processes. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical systems on construction sites or during renovation projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics with precision. Experience working with high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage control systems in industrial environments. Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex electrical issues efficiently. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is highly desirable. Construction site experience including renovation projects is preferred. Valid electrician license or certification as required by state or local regulations is necessary.
