In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure across various industrial facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects including new installations, renovations, and ongoing maintenance. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system configurations. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to electrical safety procedures and regulations. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters; identify faults in complex industrial systems. Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment including motors, control panels, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and low voltage systems. Install and connect high-voltage systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards; work on construction sites involving renovation or new installations. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for wiring, conduit bending, framing carpentry related to electrical enclosures, and other installation tasks. Experience Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems installation and maintenance. Commercial electrician experience is highly desirable; familiarity with construction site environments is a plus. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters; capable of diagnosing complex issues efficiently. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high-voltage wiring, low voltage systems, and high-voltage safety procedures. Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately; familiarity with construction or renovation projects involving electrical work. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures; capable of working safely on construction sites or industrial facilities while managing multiple projects effectively.
