What they do
An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Qualifications:
What's needed- Basic Qualifications A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum two (2) years of related experience Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally Basic English language skills (both verbal and written) As a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand Must be at least 18 years of age What's needed- Preferred Qualifications Trade school background The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
