  • Job Title: Electrician - Commercial Medical Facility Remodel
  • Job Description
  • This role supports a commercial remodel project in a medical facility, focusing on electrical installation, wiring, and conduit work in a hospital environment. You will install fixtures and devices, run and bend EMT conduit, pull wire, and interpret blueprints while contributing to a clean, indoor healthcare construction setting.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Install electrical plugs, covers, fixtures, and related devices throughout the medical facility remodel.

+ Run and bend EMT conduit up to 1 inch, ensuring proper routing, support, and secure installation.

+ Pull and run electrical wire, primarily number 8 wire, according to project specifications and electrical codes.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings to plan and execute installations accurately.

+ Perform electrical installation and troubleshooting tasks in a commercial and healthcare construction environment.

+ Complete wiring and installation work in accordance with safety standards and applicable codes.

+ Work independently to carry out assigned tasks, maintaining productivity and quality on a multi-floor remodel project.

+ Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site to coordinate work in an active hospital setting.

+ Follow OSHA and site-specific safety requirements, including use of required PPE and adherence to safety procedures.

+ Support ongoing renovation activities across multiple floors, adjusting to changing project needs and priorities.

  • Essential Skills
  • + At least 4 years of commercial electrical experience.

+ Proven experience bending EMT conduit up to 1 inch.

+ Strong ability to pull and run wire, including number 8 wire.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical plans.

+ Experience installing electrical fixtures, plugs, covers, and related devices.

+ Experience in commercial construction and renovation projects.

+ Knowledge of hospital or healthcare construction environments.

+ Understanding of OSHA safety practices and compliance requirements.

+ Capability to perform installation, troubleshooting, and wiring tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + OSHA certifications are preferred but not required.

+ Journeyman electrician license or card is preferred but not required.

+ Experience working in hospitals or healthcare facilities is a plus.

+ Ability to work independently and manage tasks with limited oversight.

+ Comfort working on multi-floor commercial projects in a medical facility.

+ Light to medium commercial construction experience is beneficial.

  • The pay range for this position is $27.

00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
