Industrial Electrician - Airfield Project Superior Skilled Trades is seeking 2 experienced Industrial Electricians for a 2-3 month contract project! This is a great opportunity for electricians with industrial and electrical installation experience who are comfortable working outdoors and on an active airfield project. Position Details

50+ hours per week

2-3 years of electrical experience

Job Duties

Electricians will be responsible for electrical installation, testing, troubleshooting, and airfield lighting work, including:

Establishing temporary power

Trenching and installing conduit

Making electrical connections

Pulling cable through recently installed duct banks

Installing isolation transformers in junction cans

Wiring edge lights on a taxiway project

Installing and wiring multiple guidance signs

Terminating circuits inside a JCP

Installing a CCR in the vault

Performing Megger testing on newly installed circuits

Troubleshooting failed series lighting circuits

Performing general electrical installation and maintenance as directed

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be comfortable with physically demanding work, including:

Standing for extended periods

Bending and twisting

Kneeling

Climbing

Working outdoors

Performing repetitive electrical installation tasks

Tools & PPE

Employees must provide their own:

Hand tools

Power tools

Required PPE

Important Project Requirements

Employees must apply for badge access to perform driving and work on the airfield.

Candidates must have a clean background to qualify for airfield access.

Candidates must be drug-free and successfully complete the required drug screening.

Must be flexible with the work schedule, as the project will require 4 separate mobilizations.

Reliable attendance and the ability to work 50+ hours per week are required.
