Low Voltage Installer

Job Description We are seeking two skilled Commercial Low Voltage Installation Technicians to join a growing team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems in commercial environments, including security, alarm, access control, CCTV, audio/visual, and structured cabling systems. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems in commercial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Install and program security systems, alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and A/V systems Pull, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) Troubleshoot and resolve wiring, connectivity, and equipment issues Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, time, and materials used Deliver excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction on job sites Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred Minimum 1+ year of experience installing and maintaining commercial low voltage systems Working knowledge of low voltage systems, cabling standards, and electrical codes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Skills Low voltage installation Structured cabling (Cat6) Security and alarm systems CCTV and access control Additional Qualifications Dependable with a proven record of punctuality and reliability Strong attention to detail Growth mindset with a strong work ethic Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
