Overview Join our construction team as an Electrical Laborer and play a vital role in building and maintaining electrical systems across diverse projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in both residential and commercial electrical work while working on construction sites. You will be ensuring electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, contributing to projects that power communities and industries. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in electrical construction. Responsibilities Assist electricians with installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, strip, and assemble electrical components Read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics to support accurate installation of electrical systems Work on low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and ensure proper functioning Support framing carpentry tasks related to electrical infrastructure within construction projects Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times Qualifications Prior experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician or in a related electrical role on construction sites Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, including NEC standards Ability to use testing devices such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting purposes Experience with construction site safety practices and procedures Familiarity with frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations is a plus Strong attention to detail, safety-minded approach, and good communication skills This role offers an engaging environment where your electrical skills will grow through hands-on experience on impactful projects.
