An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities What You'll Do:
Teach hands-on electrical skills to students preparing for careers in the trade Demonstrate safe use of tools, equipment, and electrical systems Train students in residential, commercial, and/or industrial wiring Prepare students for licensure and industry certifications Support and mentor students as they develop their skills
What You Bring:
Strong, hands-on experience in the electrical trade Knowledge of electrical fundamentals (AC/DC) and NEC standards Experience with wiring, conduit installation, and power distribution Familiarity with motor controls, transformers, or PLCs (preferred) Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate concepts to others Additional Duties & Responsibilities Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities You must meet one of the following: Associate degree in Electrical Technology (or an equivalent field) plus five (5) years of electrical work experience OR Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of electrical work experience OR five or more (5+) years of electrical work experience and willingness to complete an Electrical Technology Associate degree within three (3) years
Preferred:
