Electrical Apprentice

Position:

Apprentice Electrician Job Description:

The Electrician is responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance and testing of electrical and other systems in commercial, and residential buildings. The Electrician also maintains a safe working environment by complying with safety requirements, regulations and company policies.

Core Duties:

Install, repair, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings. Test and inspect systems to ensure compatibility with existing equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot mechanical systems for compatibility with existing equipment. Maintain records of system performance and functionality. Perform duties such as hanging fixtures, wiring, hanging switches, junction boxes, conduit, conduit boxes, panels etc. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required for this position; Must have a clean driving record and be able to safely operate company vehicles. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to follow instructions accurately and maintain a high level of accuracy while performing the duties listed below. Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
