An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.
Fuse Staffing is currently hiring experienced Commercial / Industrial Electricians for commercial and industrial construction projects. We are looking for skilled electricians with experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems in large-scale construction environments. Our electricians work on projects including warehouses, hospitals, schools, office buildings, retail facilities, manufacturing plants, water plants, refineries, and other commercial construction sites. Commercial Electrician Responsibilities Install electrical systems, equipment, and components according to project specifications and NEC standards Install and bend EMT, rigid conduit, and other raceway systems Perform wire pulls, cable installation, and terminations Install and connect panels, disconnects, transformers, switchgear, lighting, devices, and electrical equipment Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform quality inspections Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and electrical measuring devices safely Work alongside foremen, project managers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following OSHA and jobsite safety requirements Commercial Electrician Qualifications 3+ years of commercial electrical construction experience preferred Experience with commercial and/or industrial electrical installations Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints Knowledge of electrical materials, tools, and installation methods Experience bending conduit and performing electrical rough-in work Ability to install and terminate electrical equipment and devices Must have a valid TDLR electrician license or apprentice registration Reliable transportation and ability to work on active construction sites Strong work ethic, attendance, and commitment to safety Preferred Experience Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician experience Commercial construction experience Industrial electrical experience Warehouse, hospital, school, refinery, manufacturing, office building, retail, and large-scale construction projects Why Work With Fuse Staffing?
