This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems that support fiber optic networks, telecommunications infrastructure, and related utility projects. Responsibilities:
Install electrical systems supporting fiber optic and telecommunications infrastructure. Install and terminate power systems for cabinets, huts, shelters, remote electronics, and network equipment. Install conduit, raceways, cable tray, grounding systems, and electrical distribution equipment. Perform AC and DC power installations for telecommunications facilities. Install and troubleshoot lighting, receptacles, breakers, disconnects, generators, UPS systems, and battery backup systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, oneline diagrams, and telecommunications construction plans. Coordinate electrical work with civil, fiber, and network installation crews. Perform testing, commissioning, and startup of electrical systems. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, customer specifications, and company safety standards. Position will be stationed primarily at the Denton manufacturing facility, however, some travel to project sites throughout the region may be required to support the team. Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license preferred (or equivalent experience where applicable). Experience in telecommunications, fiber optic, utility, commercial, or industrial electrical construction preferred. Working knowledge of NEC requirements and telecommunications power systems. Ability to read electrical and telecommunications construction drawings. Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass preemployment drug screening and background check. Willingness to travel and work overtime when project schedules require.
