An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform site surveys and assess meter installation requirements.
- Install and replace water and electric meters.
- Install and terminate low-voltage wiring and communications cabling.
- Pull wiring from meters back to the designated data closet.
- Terminate connections at the data closet/switch.
- Configure and set up meters according to project requirements.
- Perform testing and basic commissioning.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of electrical, wiring, or field service experience
- Interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Experience with low voltage projects
- Must be able to pass a government background check
