Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.
Up to $64.00/hour DOE + $175 Per Diem for Qualified Travelers Position Overview Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians with data center and/or industrial experience for a long-term project in the Des Moines area. Candidates must possess an active Iowa Journeyman Electrician license or a Journeyman license from a reciprocating state: (AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, or WI) This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project offering consistent overtime and long-term work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. We are looking for licensed electricians with experience in data centers, industrial facilities, or large-scale commercial projects who are proficient in conduit installation, wire pulls, terminations, and electrical systems. Experience reading blueprints, installing power distribution equipment, and working safely around energized systems is highly preferred.
