Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Electricians for projects located in or around Forney, TX . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Troubleshoot and repair motors, control circuits, power distribution equipment, panels, wiring, breakers, disconnects, and conduit Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and verify zero energy before beginning work, including electrical, mechanical, and stored energy sources Identify, isolate, and safely discharge stored energy from capacitors, spring-loaded components, and other energy-storing devices Read and follow electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams Use meters and test equipment to diagnose issues and verify repairs Follow NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA requirements and address unsafe conditions Train and mentor technical operators on safe electrical practices and basic troubleshooting Review and update SOPs to maintain compliance with applicable safety and electrical standards Complete all assigned work safely and without skipping required procedures or taking shortcuts Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Texas Journeyman Electrician License Minimum of 3 years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience Strong knowledge of power distribution, Lockout/Tagout, stored energy hazards, NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA requirements Experience safely managing stored energy systems in an industrial environment Ability to work safely around energized equipment when required Willingness to hold others accountable for safety and procedural standards Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
