Join a team that values your expertise and gives you the tools to succeed in the field every day. G&G Electric is looking for a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll handle a wide range of service calls—primarily residential, with commercial calls as they come in—from diagnosing and repairing electrical issues to performing routine maintenance and small installations. You'll be working directly with clients, so professionalism, communication, and efficiency are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and equipment Perform service calls primarily for residential properties, with occasional commercial calls (retail, offices, light industrial) Install outlets, lighting, panels, breakers, and related components Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes Communicate clearly with clients and provide exceptional service Complete accurate documentation of work performed Maintain a clean and safe job site Be available for occasional on-call/emergency calls, particularly around holidays
Requirements:
Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License with TDLR 4+ years of Lead Service Technician experience Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols Great communication skills and a strong work ethic Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Must pass a background check
