Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues efficiently Perform wiring of electrical systems in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes Maintain safety procedures during all phases of electrical work to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for wiring, conduit bending, mounting fixtures, and other installation tasks Troubleshoot complex electrical systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial controls, and high-voltage circuits Requirements Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification with proven experience in industrial and commercial electrical work Extensive experience with industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and control panels Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters Ability to work safely following electrical safety procedures at all times during construction or renovation projects Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of construction processes and renovation projects Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and industrial automation controls is preferred Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, power tools for installation and maintenance tasks Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions Join our team as a Journeyman Electrician if you are eager to apply your technical skills in a vibrant environment that values safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning.
