In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards, and safety procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovations, utilizing your extensive electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to deliver exceptional results. Duties Perform electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting on commercial and industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or system inefficiencies. Install, maintain, and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components critical to industrial operations. Ensure all work adheres to the NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA 70 standards, and local electrical codes for safety and compliance. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently during installation or repair tasks. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high safety standards. Skills Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements. Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and blueprints reading. Ability to work with high-voltage electrical wiring safely within industrial environments. Familiarity with low voltage systems, electrical wiring techniques, and electrical safety procedures. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving complex electrical work. Proficient in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools; ohmmeters; and other diagnostic equipment.
