Privately Owned. Locally Operated. Built on Service. Impact Mechanical Services is a privately owned and locally operated mechanical service company serving apartment communities, commercial properties, and industrial customers throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We provide HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical service, and most of our work comes from long-term property management and commercial clients who count on us to solve problems and keep their properties running. We're growing our electrical department and are hiring a licensed Texas journeyman electrician to do hands-on service work and help lead the department as it grows. This is a field role with real responsibility: you'll troubleshoot and repair, own your jobs from start to closeout, work directly with property managers, and help organize and lead electrical work as we add electricians and apprentices. You'll start as our lead electrician, working alongside field helpers and reporting to our operations manager. As the department grows, you'll help lead and train the electricians and apprentices we add. This role is a good fit for a strong service electrician who is ready for more responsibility and wants to help build something. What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues at apartment communities and commercial properties
- Perform electrical installations, replacements, and upgrades within the scope of your journeyman license and the company's authorized scope of work
- Coordinate electrical jobs with our operations team, including materials, scheduling, and job readiness
- Lead and mentor electricians and apprentices as the team grows
- Assess field conditions, develop scopes of work, and help prepare estimates and material lists
- Communicate professionally with property managers, customers, and coworkers
- Document work, photos, findings, and follow-up needs in ServiceTitan
- Follow safe work practices, deliver quality workmanship, and complete clear job closeout documentation
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours service needs What You'll Work On Our electrical work is primarily service, repair, and replacement at multifamily apartment communities and commercial properties across DFW. That includes troubleshooting circuits, panels, breakers, fixtures, and equipment connections, plus replacements and upgrades for property clients. Why Join Impact Mechanical
