POSITION SUMMARY

The Electrician or licensed Journeyman will have hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting within industrial and manufacturing environments. This position will report to the Foreman or Superintendent and may supervise 1-5 apprentices or helpers while performing installation, modification, repair of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment on diverse projects.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABLIITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, equipment, and devices. Install conduit (EMT, GRC, aluminum, sealtite, etc.), pull wire and terminate per NEC standards. Perform electrical terminations on motors, VFDs, PLCs, disconnects, and control panels. Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and schematics to execute work accurately. Performs underground layouts and rough-ins. Determines wire and conduit sizing. Does rigging and job set ups for all tasks performed or supervised. Installs BUSS feeders. Performs switchgear installations and terminations. Install cable trays, lighting systems, receptacles, and control wiring. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in production equipment and systems. Oversight of assigned helpers in the safe operation of tools, use of equipment, electrical principles, and applicable codes. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet deadlines. Maintain proper documentation of work completed and materials used. Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards at all times. All other duties as assigned.

Experience with electrical distribution, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and grounding/bonding practices Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team environment.

Computer skills required:

(Microsoft Office Suite) Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints Knowledge of and ability to interpret NEC Code Book Willingness to Travel if needed

REQUIRED ROLE EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 4+ years of electrical experience in an industrial, oil/gas or manufacturing setting. TDLR Journeyman License preferred Must possess a valid Driver's License

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

•Willing to work overtime when required and be available for callouts Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for extended periods Employees may be exposed to elevated noise levels, fluctuating temperatures, airborne particles, and hazardous machinery. Compliance with all safety standards and the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are required. Must have the ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including flame resistant clothing, safety glasses, gloves, and respiratory protection as required.
