New hires will gain hands-on experience and develop valuable technical skills in the audio/video and home technology industry. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with a team of technicians on residential installations Run cabling through walls, ceilings, floors, and other structures Terminate cables using compression, crimping, and other methods Mount TVs, projectors, speakers, lifts, and other A/V equipment Perform basic testing to ensure proper installation and system performance Assist lead technicians to ensure installations meet quality standards Configure inputs/outputs for audio, video, and home entertainment systems Troubleshoot and service A/V equipment and control systems Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with codes and regulations Qualifications Education Some college preferred Experience & Requirements Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience preferred Willingness to learn and grow in the field Strong customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for company vehicle use) Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Key Responsibilities Collaborate with a team of technicians on residential installations Run cabling through walls, ceilings, floors, and other structures Terminate cables using compression, crimping, and other methods Mount TVs, projectors, speakers, lifts, and other A/V equipment Perform basic testing to ensure proper installation and system performance Assist lead technicians to ensure installations meet quality standards Configure inputs/outputs for audio, video, and home entertainment systems Troubleshoot and service A/V equipment and control systems Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with codes and regulations Work Environment Work is performed in residential construction settings, including new builds and occupied homes Frequent exposure to construction conditions such as dust, noise, and varying temperatures Work may occur indoors and outdoors depending on project stage Travel to multiple job sites throughout the day is required Interaction with customers, builders, and other trades on-site Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing 50+ lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, etc.) Manual dexterity to operate hand and power tools Visual acuity to read schematics, plans, and device indicators
