The Maintenance Electrician will perform the more difficult and complex electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of facility and production electrical equipment and systems in accordance with applicable codes and safety regulations under limited supervision. Responsibilities Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks on machine tools and other manufacturing and building equipment Performs the more difficult and complex skilled tasks to install and repair a wide variety of electrical equipment including generators, transformers, motors, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, conduit systems, and other transmission equipment Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical systems and equipment such as electronic tube exhaust machines, air conditioners units, and other manufacturing equipment where a high degree of skill and versatility is essential Performs all required tests or measurements necessary to determine electrical transmission and operational malfunctions utilizing appropriate instruments and equipment Determines load requirements or wiring and electrical equipment.
