Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician / Pipe Bender to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code). Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting. Bend pipes accurately for conduit runs using hand tools and pipe bending equipment to meet project specifications. Diagnose electrical issues using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools; troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently. Perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely on industrial equipment while following strict electrical safety procedures. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems during construction or renovation projects; identify potential hazards or code violations. Adhere to local electrical codes and safety procedures during all phases of installation, maintenance, and repair work. Utilize power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment effectively to complete tasks efficiently on construction sites or in industrial facilities. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician with strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems. Commercial electrician experience is highly desirable with familiarity in commercial electrical systems installation and maintenance. Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading skills are essential. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Knowledge of high-voltage electrical wiring practices along with low voltage system work is required. Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards and local electrical codes ensures safe and compliant work practices. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects; hands-on experience with construction or handyman tasks is a plus. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures including lockout/tagout protocols. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with conduit bending tools is preferred.
