Perform high-voltage wiring and maintenance on industrial motor control equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and power tools to identify issues accurately. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to guide installation and repair activities. Maintain compliance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code for electrical safety) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards during all work processes. Execute electrical systems installation on construction sites, adhering to electrical building codes and safety procedures. Troubleshoot complex electrical problems involving low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor control equipment, and high-voltage circuits. Perform industrial motor maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal performance of machinery. Follow strict electrical safety procedures to protect yourself and team members during all phases of work. Use hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment efficiently to complete tasks effectively. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems. Demonstrated expertise in industrial electrician experience along with construction site experience. Comprehensive knowledge of electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting techniques, and system maintenance practices. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and interpret electrical drawings accurately. Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and electrical building codes is essential. Experience working with high-voltage wiring systems safely in accordance with electrical safety procedures. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers as well as power tools like drills and saws. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor control equipment, low voltage systems, and industrial motor maintenance is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform precise electrical troubleshooting under pressure. Valid electrician license or certification recognized as a Journeyman Electrician by relevant authorities is required.
