Full Job Description Position Summary:
An Electrical journeyman with operational responsibility for employees involved in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment for small to mid-sized ground up projects or tenant finish projects. This is a safety sensitive position. Education and Experience Must possess all skills of lower rated positions including, Foreman, Journeyman, T2, H2 6 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience Required Skill, Knowledge, and Abilities Comprehend reading and drawing prints, specifications, and schematics. Bend conduit by hand with hand benders. Utilize all power tools, saws, threaders, and knockout punches. Operate wire tuggers and hydraulic benders. Dig trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment. Comprehend and practice safe work procedures (HAZCOM, LOTO) Operate two handed tools/equipment, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jack hammers. Operate and work from mechanical personnel lifts, both electric and gasoline powered.
