About Us:
Current Power Technologies Inc. is a rapidly growing electrical contractor and generator installation company based in San Antonio, Texas. We specialize in the sales and installation of Standby Generators and Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers. Our mission is to provide reliable power solutions and contribute to the growth of sustainable transportation infrastructure.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The Journeyman Electrician will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including standby generators and EV charging stations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including standby generators and EV charging stations. Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing effective solutions. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and concerns promptly. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
Qualifications:
Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Electrician. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. Experience with standby generators and EV charging stations is highly desirable . Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required based on project needs. Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
