Available Benefits Help for . The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This position helps ensure electrical equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable safety standards.
Essential Duties:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
Diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs.
Inspect electrical equipment and identify potential safety hazards.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical machinery and systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Install and repair wiring, electrical panels, motors, controls, and related components.
Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper operation.
Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and modifications.
Follow OSHA, electrical, and company safety requirements.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and electrical repairs.
Respond to electrical equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
Work closely with maintenance, production, and management teams.
Properly use electrical tools, testing equipment, and PPE.
