Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our production facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation of machinery, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. This position offers a dynamic environment where technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude are essential to success. Duties Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot complex electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment. Maintain and repair industrial machinery utilizing schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical systems, hydraulic components, pneumatic systems, and mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation. Use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately. Operate field service equipment including scissor lifts and other industrial lifts safely to access hard-to-reach areas. Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints for equipment repair or installation projects. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Support engineering troubleshooting efforts during system failures or upgrades by analyzing data and recommending solutions. Assist with welding tasks using welding techniques when necessary for repairs or modifications. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing facility maintenance with a strong focus on electrical systems; industrial electrician experience preferred. Knowledge of industrial mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprint reading, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting methods. Experience with equipment troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, and repairs involving high voltage and low voltage systems. Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely; certification is a plus. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical data accurately for effective problem resolution. Excellent customer service skills when working with internal teams or external vendors during maintenance activities. Prior experience in military settings or with industrial maintenance certifications is advantageous. Proficiency in English communication; additional language skills are a bonus but not required.
