What they do
An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Apply knowledge of current electrical codes and industry best practicesExecute electrical construction on commercial and industrial projectsRead and interpret construction drawings and specificationsOrder and manage tools, equipment, and materials as neededLead by example and mentor apprentices on-siteManage project files, documents, and records in digital systemsTravel and work on out-of-town projects when neededTake on additional duties as assignedQualificationsWhat You BringYou're someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right.Successful candidates typically bring:
Journeyman's License (required); will accept licenses from states with reciprocity5+ years of experience in industrial electrical workWillingness to travel up to 100%, including overnightsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass a drug screen and background checkAdditional InformationPay RangeWe believe in paying for the value you bring to the team, and we aim to be competitive in every market we hire in.Pay Range:
