Electrical Apprentice (ASAP)

Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and commercial facilities. Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting under supervision. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements. Support the setup and troubleshooting of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Operate testing equipment like ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and using personal protective equipment. Participate in construction activities including framing carpentry as needed to support electrical installations. Skills Strong interest in electrical work with a willingness to learn technical skills on the job. Experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrical systems is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams. Understanding of NEC standards related to low voltage and high voltage systems. Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work safely in active environments. Basic frame carpentry skills are advantageous for supporting electrical infrastructure projects.
