Job Description

Commercial Electrician / Job Lead We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician who is capable of taking ownership of projects and running jobs independently. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, knowledgeable in commercial electrical work, and comfortable leading projects from start to completion. Responsibilities Run commercial electrical projects independently with minimal supervision Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and blueprints Plan daily work and coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment Perform commercial electrical installations, including conduit, wire, panels, lighting, devices, and related systems Troubleshoot electrical issues and make sound field decisions Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and other trades Keep projects on schedule and communicate job progress, material needs, and potential issues Lead and direct helpers or electricians when assigned Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Ensure work meets company standards, project specifications, and applicable electrical codes Qualifications Commercial electrical experience required Must be able to run jobs independently Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installation methods Ability to read prints and understand project scope Experience planning work and managing material needs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Dependable, professional, and able to communicate effectively Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be willing and able to travel for projects Ability to work overtime or extended hours when required by the project Electrical license/certification preferred or required as applicable What We're Looking For We need someone who can be given a project, understand what needs to be done, organize the work, and take responsibility for getting the job completed correctly and on schedule . This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with solid commercial experience who can work independently and represent the company professionally in the field.
