Position Summary We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician with relevant oilfield experience to support operations in and around Tyler, TX and East Texas . This role requires current Journeyman status. The ideal candidate will bring strong electrical expertise, a safety-first mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work that exceeds client expectations. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment Work with AC/DC motors, drives, electrical wiring, conduits, feeders, lighting, and related components Fabricate and install conduit, perform motor terminations, and terminate wiring on control and instrumentation panels Wire and power field instrumentation and automation equipment installed by our I&E and Automation teams (transmitters, PLC panels, RTUs), without responsibility for calibration or logic programming Test electrical and electronic systems for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance Perform preventive maintenance and correct wiring or connection issues on machinery and control systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and electrical code specifications Work alongside automation and I&E technicians on SCADA, PLC, and instrumentation projects, providing electrical support (power runs, terminations, panel wiring) as needed Assist with basic troubleshooting of digital communications equipment (radios, cellular modems) at the power/wiring level Provide technical support for new construction and electrical upgrade projects Travel as required to support field operations, installations, and client needs Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards Qualifications Current Journeyman Electrician certification required 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in oil and gas environments Strong background in electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting Familiarity with PLC panels, SCADA systems, and instrumentation from a wiring/power perspective (calibration and programming are handled by I&E/Automation teams) Proficiency with AC/DC motors, drives, and control systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Strong understanding of lockout/tagout procedures and safe work practices Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with operations, engineering, maintenance, and clients Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and travel as needed Pre-Employment Requirements Drug and alcohol screening Background check Driver's abstract (for employees operating company vehicles) What We Offer Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package Permanent, full-time employment Career advancement opportunities Diverse and challenging project work A strong safety culture and supportive team environment

$40.00 - $55.00 per hour
