Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our dynamic electrical team. In this role, you will assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will contribute to successful project completion while ensuring adherence to all electrical codes and safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in electrical work and gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including commercial and industrial wiring projects. Prepare work sites by organizing hand tools, power tools, conduit bending equipment, and other necessary materials. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system setup. Help with conduit bending, electrical wiring, and the installation of electrical systems according to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards. Support the installation of low voltage systems and commercial electrical systems while following strict safety procedures. Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards. Experience Prior experience working as an electrician helper or in a construction site environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems installation and maintenance. Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and electrical blueprint reading is essential. Experience with conduit bending, electrical wiring techniques, low voltage systems, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Ability to read technical schematics and interpret electrical blueprints accurately. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and protocol adherence on construction sites or industrial facilities.
