Job Summary The Maintenance Multicraft, is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of industrial equipment and facility system by performing skilled mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance tasks. Job Responsibilities Follow all safety requirements while performing any mechanical or electrical work Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems Knowledge of PLC ladder logic while troubleshooting plant equipment Use hand tools power tools, and electrical equipment safely
Electrical Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair electrical faults up to 480V 3-phase systems, AC/DC drives, motors, and control panels
Automation & PLCs:
Read electrical schematics to isolate issues, verify PLC inputs/outputs (I/O), and replace faulty sensors or switches
Mechanical & Fluid Power:
Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including automated conveyor lines, gearboxes, hydraulic units, and pneumatic systems
Preventive Maintenance:
Execute advanced PM checklists and suggest improvements to equipment reliability based on root-cause analysis
Safety Leadership:
Strictly adhere to, enforce, and log all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and OSHA safety regulations Comply with all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and plant-specific procedures Use PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, steel-toed footwear, and other required equipment Maintain awareness of moving machinery, hot surfaces, mold-related pinch points, and material-handling hazards Promote a safety-first culture by identifying risks, following training, and encouraging safe work practices
Job Requirements Experience:
2+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or automated distribution center environment
Electrical Skillset:
High proficiency using digital multimeters, megohmmeters, and reading complex electrical blueprints
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods during a shift
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; a Technical Degree, Apprenticeship, or Journeyman Electrical license is highly preferred.
