We are licensed, insured, and committed to delivering safe, clean, code-compliant work on every job. As we grow, we are building a reliable team of skilled electricians who take pride in their craft and represent ECU professionally in the field. About the Role We are looking for a licensed Utah Journeyman Electrician to join the ECU team directly. This is an internal position — you will work under ECU, represent our brand in the field, and be a key part of how we deliver quality electrical services to our customers. This role is a great fit if you: Value flexibility with consistent, steady work Work well independently and are comfortable leading jobs from start to finish Take pride in clean, code-compliant craftsmanship Communicate professionally with customers and team leadership Want to grow with a company that is expanding its service footprint What You'll Do Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems on residential and light commercial projects Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (multimeters, ohmmeters, low voltage testers) Ensure all work meets NEC standards and local code requirements Pull permits as required and coordinate inspections Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicate clearly with ECU leadership and customers Document work performed and materials used Support renovation and upgrade projects involving existing electrical systems Requirements Active Utah Journeyman Electrician License (required) Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (required) Own basic hand tools and testing equipment (required) Ability to work independently and serve as job lead Residential and/or light commercial experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Professional communication and customer-facing demeanor Valid references Able to pass background check and drug screening What We Offer $40-$45/hour starting pay (DOE) Flexible, on-call scheduling with a consistent flow of work Organized job management and clear communication from ECU leadership Variety of residential and light commercial projects Opportunity to grow into a full-time role as ECU expands
