Your tasks The Electrical-Mechanical Design Team Lead will oversee the Electrical Schematics and Electrical Installation teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing electrical cabinets, wire harnesses, and grounding for electro-mechanical train components. This leadership role involves managing engineering capacity, ensuring project compliance, and fostering team growth through training and mentorship. Key Activities Continuous development and management of the Electrical Installation and Schematics team. Manage work packages within project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Office), ensuring accurate capacity planning and task allocation. Preparation of installation drawings, schematics and production documentation with the team. Working in PLM systems (SmarTeam, Teamcenter) and tooling landscapes to streamline workflows. Change management based on feedback from production and in alignment with the Lead Engineer. Facilitate the adoption of the current designs to American Railway Standards. Creation/Optimization and establishment of engineering processes, guidelines, and work instructions. Ensuring that the relevant electrical engineering work packages adhere to both cost and schedule requirements. Collaboration with cross functional department (System Engineers, Mechanical, Project Management, Production, and Quality) throughout product development stages. Lead technical releases of articles, 3D models, drawings, and associated documentation, ensuring adherence to project specifications. Ensure all electrical installation, schematic and design activities meet company standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications. Your profile Qualifications High School diploma, or GED is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. 5+ years in electrical engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
