Job Description

SWA is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician for an open role in Bluffdale, UT!
Pay:
Starting at $43 hr (Increases will be based on skills and experience)
Shift:
M-F / 7:30 am - 4 pm (Temp)
Consideration Requirements:
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening At least 5 years of Industrial Electrical experience Valid Utah Journeyman Electrician License (preferred) Strong experience in industrial electrical work Ability to work independently and self-manage on job sites Strong understanding of NEC and safety standards Reliable, punctual, and able to support projects on an as-needed basis Ability to read blueprints, interpret electrical schematics, and plan installations Experience with conduit bending, panel work, machinery hookups, and lighting systems Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or manufacturing environments. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems Must be comfortable working with 460 volts and 3 phase power Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems on industrial and commercial sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately perform wiring and system setups. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to perform electrical tasks. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NEC standards and safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections of electrical components to identify potential issues before they lead to failures or hazards. Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure proper installation of electrical systems during new builds or upgrades. Follow all safety procedures related to construction site work, including proper handling of high voltage systems. Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference.
Pay:
From $43.00 per hour
