Apprentice Electrician - Commercial

Responsibilities Assist senior electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Conduct basic testing using tools such as ohmmeters to ensure proper circuit functionality Participate in construction site activities including framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols on-site Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in electrical systems is a plus Some experience with industrial or commercial electrical work is preferred but not required—training will be provided Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems; understanding of NEC standards is advantageous Experience working on construction sites or in framing carpentry is beneficial Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and eagerness to learn new skills This paid apprenticeship is designed to jumpstart your career by providing comprehensive training and practical experience.
