Job Description

Buildforce is hiring a commercial electrician in the Blacksburg, VA area! Pay is $26.00-$33.00 /HR We are seeking experienced electricians with at least 4 years of commercial electrical experience for a full-time project in Blacksburg, VA. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and leading a crew of 3-4 workers while maintaining quality, safety, and electrical code standards. Responsibilities Perform commercial electrical distribution Complete branch rough-in work, including conduit bending and installation Read and interpret electrical prints and plans to guide installation work Lead and coordinate a small crew on assigned tasks Complete work independently, safely, and efficiently with minimal supervision Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards on the job site Strong EMT and PVC conduit bending skills Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of commercial electrical experience Strong commercial electrical experience Skilled in distribution, underground work, branch rough-in, and conduit bending Able to read and interpret electrical prints and plans Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Prior experience leading or coordinating a small crew

Must have basic electrical hand tools
Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
Strong attendance and dependability
Ability to work effectively with a crew and follow direction
OSHA 10 preferred
Must be safety-conscious and professional on the jobsite
